At a time when most european graffiti practitioners where trying hard but unsuccsessfully to copy and master the classic new york style of graffiti wonabc was amongst the first to take graffiti not as a premanufactured instant art form, but as a method to fill with his very own contents. He has both an almost unlimited talent to perform even under the most unfavourable circumstances, and the sheer will to communicate feelings, experiences and obsessions, and express personal views, hated and affections. Wonabc depicted everything from his obsessed mind on the surface of his hometown munich`s s-trains. He waged all-out artistic warfare against the transit police`s graffiti task force and soless authorities in general. When he was finally caught and convicted, it was one battle lost. But, at his artworks had been witnessed by thousands of commuters and had been published on the covers of popular graffiti art books and magazines, thus making a lasting impact on generations of artistic defacers to follow, it can be stated that this war had instantly been WON.
